Fran's story of a late blooming teen athlete to national and international speaking prominence
has inspired millions around the world. Her riveting journey in sales, sports and broadcasting
has been filled with challenges and potential setbacks yet these experiences are also what give
Fran a unique sensibility and perspective into the areas of peak performance and human
achievement. An Olympic team alternate, she didn’t start playing basketball until she was a
sophomore in high school. And after taking off seven years she beat out more than 200
women to land a spot on the Houston Comets' first WNBA championship team. She has taken
her experiences as a spiritual leader, Fortune 100 sales coach and executive with Procter &
Gamble, former ESPN & Lifetime Television sports announcer, author and elite athlete, and
helped people transform their personal and professional lives.

Fran's Profile
Fran wrote her first play at age six. Was speaking in church by seven. Started her first
business by nine. Wrote her first book in junior high school. Was selected through a gifted
students exchange program to travel to Mexico at 16. And published her first book before she
was 20.
Her career has taken her to more than 30 countries utilizing inspirational messages
steeped in spiritual principles, inpowerment and self-awareness.
She has played on numerous USA national teams and is a national fitness expert, certified
personal trainer, sports nutritionist and fitness instructor.
Her multimedia company, InPowerment Entertainment, recently acquired the life story
rights of acclaimed poet/activist Nikki Giovanni and is producing a documentary about her life.
Fran earned her bachelors and masters degrees in Journalism from The University of
Texas at Austin where she was a member of the NCAA’s first undefeated women’s national
championship team.
Fran is an ordained minister.
Fran is currently working on a PhD and will soon be known affectionately simply as "Dr.
Fran."
